Justin, like approximately half of the people reading this bio, works as a comedy screenwriter, director, and performer in Los Angeles. He’s written numerous projects for major studios and television networks including THE WAKEUP CALL for Fox (Millar Gough producing) and BEST PLAYER, currently in postproduction, for Nickelodeon.
At the moment, he’s writing CLOUD NINE for Disney Channel, and his production company Hollywood Farms (a partnership with producer Kirkland Tibbels) is currently packaging his script THE ADRENALISTS with Radar Pictures producing and Kevin Connolly (ENTOURAGE) directing.
Since moving to LA, Justin has cut a swath across the rewrite circuit and developed projects with such Hollywood mainstays as Imagine Television, Warner Brothers, and MTV Films. His script AMAZING GIRL is being packaged with producer Ian Bryce (SPIDER-MAN, TRANSFORMERS), and his projects range from a family-oriented musical about high school show choir for Nickelodeon (SPECTACULAR) to a raunchy rated-R comedy (AMERICAN SUMMER, starring Matthew Lillard and Efren Ramirez ) to a true story about the 1982 NFL strike and how it changed football (THE UNBROKEN LINE).
A native of Northern Wisconsin and a graduate of Amherst College, Justin trained and performed as a comedy improviser in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles, including at Second City and IO, where he trained with Del Close, the father of improvisation and the guy whose oil painting is on the wall at IOWest.
Justin also got in the hot seat opposite Regis Philbin in Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?, but the audience led him astray on a question about organic food.
