Dr. God is proud to announce our next Revival host is Barry Jay of Barry's Bootcamp.
A native New Yorker, Barry Jay moved to Los Angeles where he fell into the “L.A. party scene,” living in a world of late nights and fast food. Barry found his calling when he took a desk job at a popular fitness studio in West Hollywood. Within a year, he became one of the top instructors at the studio. His revolutionary exercise program, combining drill sergeant tactics and a night club party atmosphere, would form the foundation for what would become Barry’s Bootcamp.
Barry is now the Director of Curriculum at Barry’s Bootcamp, overseeing dozens of great instructors at our Southern California locations who teach “The Best Workout in the World” to thousands of enlistees 365 days a year. http://www.barrysbootcamp.com/west-hollywood.html
We are excited to welcome an old friend to iOWest for our next Revival. Aside from being an iOWest alum who has shared the stage with us in numerous other combinations AND being a funny man in his own right, Mike is the frontman for Dr. God's favorite band, The Mighty Regis.
Fresh off of his gig as the host of Major League Baseball's Fancave in Times Square, Mike is taking a break from rehearsals for the TMR's next tour to come tell some of the best stories the Revival has ever seen.
You need to be at this show. Mike is family. This is a homecoming.
Dr. God is STOKED to have special Revival host Dan Bakkedahl join us on Saturday, Dec. 10th.
You might recognize Dan from the numerous movies and commercials he's done or from his two year stint on The Daily Show (check out his bio under Angels & Prophets on this website if you don't believe us).
Or you might recognize Mr. Bakkedahl from his long list of accomplishments in the improv world. Every time you see a two person improv show, you should thank Dan and Miles Stroth because they invented it with ZUMPF.
